Basil Hayden Dark Rye pushes the bounds of what a rye whiskey can be through a harmonious combination of three distinct liquid profiles. The mash bill starts with traditional Kentucky rye grain, then Canadian rye from our award-winning Alberta distillery is layered in. Finally, the whiskey is finished with a touch of California Port. Kentucky rye gives Basil Hayden Dark Rye a firm base of spice, rich oak, dried fruit, and molasses, while Canadian rye accentuates the depth of the dried fruit adding a more substantial and viscous mouthfeel. The California Port adds complementary notes of juicy, ripe fruit and gives the bourbon its trademark ruby hue. The subtle nuances from each part of the mash bill come together flawlessly, resulting in a rye bourbon that takes you far beyond the expected. A. The Booze Cartel Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. The Booze Cartel does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. The Booze Cartel is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to The Booze Cartel damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
