In celebration of the Balcones 15-Year Anniversary, we've created one of the most complex and unique whiskies in our portfolio. Cataleja Texas Single Malt symbolizes our offering to the makers who came before us and whose inspiration roused us to seek a future all our own.
Made with 100% Golden Promise Malted Barley, this single malt began its maturation journey in used Kentucky bourbon barrels, and after three years of the Texas climate's concentrating effects, was transferred into decommissioned Sherry Solera puncheons that were meticulously hand-selected from various Spanish bodegas. Because the first fill showcased the wonderfully high impact of the 80+ year old casks, the whisky was transferred back into neutral barrels, and then finished with two rounds of refill single malts within the puncheons.
A. The Booze Cartel Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. The Booze Cartel does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. The Booze Cartel is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to The Booze Cartel damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
